The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is a large and heavy boned dog with incredible physical strength. They are very agile for their size and are quite versatile in their abilities. Historically, the Swissy was bred as a working dog to pull heavy carts and to herd dairy cattle. This working breed have proven time and again that despite their size, their abilities and beauty are quite impressive.
